Section R616-3-2 - DefinitionsA. "ANSI" means the American National Standards Institute, Inc.B. "ASME" means the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.C. "Commission" means the Labor Commission created in Section 34A-1-103.D. "Division" means the Division of Boiler, Elevator and Coal Mine Safety of the Labor Commission.E. "Elevator" means a hoisting and lowering mechanism equipped with a car or platform and that moves in guides in a substantially vertical direction.F.
