Section R523-22-3 - Definitions(1) Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is known as a "hospital without walls". ACT is a person-centered service delivery model that provides an integrated set of evidence-based treatments, rehabilitative services, case management, and support services that are delivered by a mobile, multidisciplinary mental health treatment team. ACT teams serve clients who have a serious mental illness that greatly impairs their functioning in the community. Priority is given to clients with schizophrenia, other psychotic disorders, and mood disorders including bipolar disorder or major depression.Utah Admin. Code R523-22-3
