Section R392-700-1 - Authority and Purpose(1) This rule is authorized by Sections 26-1-5, 26-1-30, 26-15-2 and 26-15-13. (2) This rule establishes minimum standards for the sanitation, operation, and maintenance of an indoor tanning facility, as defined by this rule, and provides for the prevention and control of hazards associated with indoor tanning that are likely to adversely affect public health and wellness including risk factors to injury, sickness, death, disability, and the spread of disease.Utah Admin.
