Section 259.412 - Segregation(a) Systems shall provide separate cells and day rooms of varying capacities to provide adequate segregation of male and female inmates as required by Chapter 271 of this title (relating to Classification and Separation of Inmates).(b) Systems shall provide adequate single cells, separation cells, or holding cells, and may provide other special purpose cells.37 Tex.
