Section 227.7 - School Marshal Renewals(a) A school marshal license expires on August 31 following the second anniversary of the date the commission licenses the person.(b) The commission may renew the license of a person who has: (1) successfully completed a renewal course designed and administered by the commission which will not exceed a combined 16 hours of classroom and simulation training;(2) passed a commission exam;(3) demonstrated handgun proficiency as required by the commission; and(4) demonstrated psychological fitness.(c) The effective date of this section is June 1, 2022.37 Tex.
