Section 211.25 - Date of Appointment(a) If a proper report of appointment is received by the commission for the appointment as a peace officer, county jailer, or telecommunicator, the commission shall accept the date of appointment that is reported to the commission by the appointing agency.(b) The effective date of this section is February 1, 2016.37 Tex.
