Section 380.9933 - Spending Money for Released Youth(a) The Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) provides $15 in cash from TJJD funds to each youth who: (1) is released or discharged from a residential facility operated by TJJD;(2) will travel by public transportation to his/her home placement; and(3) does not have at least $15 available to withdraw from his/her student trust fund account.(b) A youth who has at least $15 available to withdraw from his/her student trust fund account is provided cash from his/her student trust fund account in accordance with § 380.9931 of this title upon release or discharge.37 Tex.
