Section 343.493 - Orientation for Educational Staff(a) All permanent educational staff and substitutes with a known facility assignment of five consecutive school days or longer shall receive a facility orientation prior to performing educational duties. Orientation shall include: (2) emergency procedures;(3) behavior management system and prohibited sanctions; and(4) reporting abuse, neglect, and exploitation.(b) Documentation of the orientation shall be maintained.37 Tex.
