Section 749.1339 - How often must I re-evaluate the intellectual functioning of a child receiving treatment services for intellectual disabilities?(a) Each child's intellectual functioning must be re-evaluated at least every three years by a psychologist qualified to provide psychological testing; or(b) A psychologist must determine the need and frequency for a specific child's intellectual functioning to be re-evaluated, such as a young child who may require more frequent testing. This determination, including justification for the time frame, must be documented in the child's record annually by the service planning team.26 Tex. Admin. Code § 749.1339
