Section 747.4807 - Must I have a fence around a swimming pool at my child-care home?(a) You must prevent children from entering the pool area by a wall, fence, or other durable impenetrable barrier at least four feet high.(b) Fence gates leading to the pool area must have self-closing and self-latching hardware out of children's reach. Gates must be locked when the pool is not in use.(c) Doors from the child-care home leading to the pool area must have a lock out of children's reach that can only be opened by an adult.(d) These doors and gates must not be designated as fire and emergency evacuation exits.26 Tex.
