Section 264.509 - Budget Approval(a) An employer or DR must, for each initial and annual budget: (1) request assistance from the CDSA as needed;(2) complete and modify budgets as directed by the CDSA; and(3) receive written approval from the CDSA before implementation of the budget and initiation of service delivery through the CDS option.(b) A CDSA must: (1) review each budget and notify the employer of any issue, spending limit, or of any services, goods, or items in the budget that prevent approval of the budget;(2) assist the employer or DR in developing and revising a budget so that the budget can be validated by the CDSA; and(3) provide written approval for each initial and annual budget to the employer.26 Tex.
