Section 194.8 - Renewal of Certificate by Out-of-State Person(a) A person who held a certificate in this state, moved to another state, and currently holds a certificate or license and has been in practice in the other state for the two years preceding the date of application may obtain a new certificate without reexamination. (b) The person must pay to the board a fee that is equal to two times the normally required renewal fee for the certificate.22 Tex. Admin. Code § 194.8
