Section 161.10 - General Counsel(a) The executive director may employ a general counsel to provide legal advice to the staff of the agency and to the members of the board.(b) The general counsel shall be licensed by the State Bar of Texas and may not be a lobbyist registered with the Office of the Secretary of State of Texas.(c) The general counsel acts under the supervision and at the direction of the executive director.22 Tex.
