Section 72.15 - Temporary License(a) An individual licensed to practice chiropractic in another state, the District of Columbia, or a United States territory may provide chiropractic services in Texas for no more than 30 days within a calendar year under a temporary license.(b) An individual seeking a temporary license shall hold an active unrestricted license, without any pending disciplinary action, in another state, the District of Columbia, or United States territory.(c) An individual seeking a temporary license shall apply to the Board at least 14 days before the date work in Texas will begin.(d) An individual shall submit with the application:(1) a copy of the individual's active license with a signed statement from the individual that the individual holds an active unrestricted license without any pending disciplinary action in that or any other jurisdiction;(2) a description of where and when chiropractic services are to be performed, the type of services, and a general description of the individuals who will receive those services; and(3) the name of the business entity, person, or event with which the individual will be associated or will be employed by while working under the temporary license.(e) An individual granted a temporary license may not provide chiropractic services to the general public.(f) An individual granted a temporary license shall comply with Texas Occupations Code Chapter 201 and Board rules and practice only within the scope of practice in Texas.(g) An individual granted a temporary license who violates Texas Occupations Code Chapter 201 or Board rules is subject to disciplinary action.(h) This section does not apply to individuals residing in Texas, establishing residence in Texas, or seeking to practice under a regular Board-issued license.22 Tex.
