Section 535.31 - Attorneys at LawAn attorney licensed and eligible to practice law in Texas is exempt from the requirements of the Act but cannot sponsor real estate sales agents or act as the designated broker for a licensed business entity unless the attorney is also licensed as a real estate broker. This provision does not waive the standards of eligibility and qualification elsewhere established in the Act.
