Section 6.123 - Eligibility(a) An existing graduate medical education (GME) program and its sponsoring institution are eligible to participate in the program and may apply for support, if the GME program has unfilled first-year residency positions that are approved by the program's accrediting body.(b) A grant under this subchapter may only support costs related to the direct resident costs of the GME program.19 Tex.
