Section 6.81 - Purpose and Authority(a) This subchapter describes the Board's criteria and process for awarding grants under the Texas Hospital-Based Nursing Education Partnership Grant Program. This program is designed to establish and/or expand innovative nursing degree programs to increase the number of students enrolled in and graduating from such programs.(b) These sections relate to Texas Education Code, Chapter 61, Subchapter EE, §§61.9751 - 61.9759, which authorize the Board to establish rules for providing funding to eligible hospitals in partnership with one or more nursing schools under the Texas Hospital-Based Nursing Education Partnership Grant Program.19 Tex.
