Section 45.23 - Alteration of Labels No person may alter, mutilate, destroy, obliterate, or remove any mark, brand, or label on an alcoholic beverage product held for sale in this state except:
(1) as authorized by Texas law; and (2) the executive director may, on written application, permit additional labeling or relabeling of bottled alcoholic beverages with labels covered by certificates of label approval that comply with the requirements of this subchapter and with state law.16 Tex.
