Under Texas Transportation Code, §RSA 721.003<subdiv>(a)(8)</subdiv>, vehicles assigned to and used by district office field personnel are exempt from bearing the inscription required in Texas Transportation Code, § RSA 721.002. These Commission vehicles are used in regulatory and administrative activity, including inspections and investigations which require that the Railroad Commission of Texas personnel be able to accomplish their tasks undetected.
