Section 54.4 - Purpose of Funds and Grant Funding Decisions(a) The purpose of the OAG Choose Life grant program is to provide funds as described in Chapter 402 of the Government Code.(b) The OAG reserves the right to consider all other appropriations or funding an applicant currently receives when making funding decisions.(c) The OAG reserves the right to give priority to programs that provide services in certain geographic or programmatic areas or other factors considered important by the OAG.(d) Within its discretion, the OAG shall determine the manner and procedure for making funding decisions that support the efficient and effective use of public funds. A competitive allocation process which includes the distribution of grant funds to grantees based on an application process as well as an evaluation and review process, may be used.1 Tex. Admin.
