Section 372.601 - SNAP Benefits for Disaster VictimsTo address the specific nutrition needs of disaster victims for a temporary period during and after a disaster, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission may:
(1) administer SNAP benefits to disaster victims as explained in RSA 2014(h); and(2) request that the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service grant waivers from applicable requirements of the SNAP regulations.1 Tex. Admin. Code § 372.601
