The Paul Douglas Teacher Scholarship Program, formerly called the Congressional Teacher Scholarship Program, is a federally-funded program to provide scholarships to outstanding high school graduates to enable and encourage them to pursue teaching careers at the preschool, elementary, or secondary school level. The Program is administered in Tennessee by the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) and makes available scholarships of up to $5,000 to successful applicants who were in the top 10% of their high school class.
