Section 1320-08-05-.06 - WATER DAMAGE FOR REBUILT VEHICLE(1) There shall be a brand affixed to a certificate of title issued by the Department of Revenue for a motor vehicle, which has sustained substantial water damage. For the purpose of this rule and T.C.A. § 55-3-210, a vehicle has sustained substantial water damage if it has water damage above the bottom of the dashboard or instrument panel or any salt water damages whatsoever.(2) If a vehicle has been previously issued a water damage branded title by a foreign state, then such brand shall be carried over to any Tennessee title issued for such vehicle.Tenn.
