UST systems that have been temporarily closed and contain no regulated substances which have been left in the tank may be brought back into service for the storage of regulated substances if they comply with § 74:56:01:09 and are tightness-tested within 24 hours of the initial filling of the tank or have implemented one or more of the approved monthly release detection methods in accordance with § 74:56:01:24.
