Section 74:36:08:11 - National emission standards for industrial process cooling towers

The national emission standards for industrial process cooling towers are those in 40 C.F.R. § 63, Subpart Q (July 1, 2018). A source that operates a unit subject to Subpart Q is exempt from the obligations to obtain a Part 70 operating permit if the source is not required to obtain a Part 70 operating permit for a reason other than the source is subject to Subpart Q. Exempted sources must still meet the applicable requirements in Subpart Q.
