Section 74:31:02:07 - Length of certification

Certification expires one year and one day after a person successfully completes the examination. A person who successfully completes a refresher course within 90 days prior to or 90 days after the certificate's expiration date and applies for recertification within this 180-day time frame shall have the certification extended an additional year.
