Section 74:05:10:02 - Eligibility

An applicant is eligible for funding if the proposal meets the following guidelines:

(1) The proposal shows potential cost savings, public health or environmental benefits, and how it will advance the state solid waste management policy goals and hierarchy established in SDCL 34A-6-1.2;

(2) The proposal is submitted by an individual, partnership, limited liability company, corporation, cooperative, municipality, county, regional or state-wide planning agency, federally recognized Indian tribe, special purpose district that has the authority to construct or operate a solid waste, waste tire, or recycling facility, or a state or public agency working in cooperation with an eligible project sponsor; and

(3) The proposal is a complete application as specified in § 74:05:10:04.
