Section 74:02:04:62 - Backflow prevention required for large capacity wells

All large capacity pumped wells shall be provided with check valves or other approved backflow preventer devices to protect the well from backflow or backsiphonage. When the driller does not install the pump, the pump installer shall install backflow preventer.
