Section 70:05:01:03 - Declaratory rulings

By filing a written request with the secretary of the department, a person may petition the board to issue a decision on the applicability of any statute, rule, or order pertaining to railroad matters under its jurisdiction. The board shall send a written decision to the petitioner within 45 days after the secretary receives the request.
