Section 70:01:01:03 - Petition for declaratory ruling

A person may request the state transportation commission to issue a decision on the applicability of any statutory provision, rule, or order pertaining to highway matters by filing a petition with the secretary of transportation. The state transportation commission shall consider these petitions at its monthly meetings in the order in which the petitions are received.
