A center may appeal to the secretary of the department any denial, revocation, or suspension of accreditation, or placement on probation by the department. An appeal to the department must be sent by certified mail, within fifteen calendar days of receipt of the notification of the department's action, and request a fair hearing pursuant to SDCL chapter 1-26.
