Section 67:61:08:01 - Definitions

Terms used in this chapter mean:

(1) "Controlled drug," any drug or chemical whose possession and use are regulated under the Federal Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. §§ 801 et seq., in effect on July 1, 2021;

(2) "Nasogastric tube," a tube that is inserted, nonsurgically, through the nose and extends into the stomach; and

(3) "Parenteral route," the administration of medication by injection, including intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injection.
