Section 67:55:04:01 - Definitions

Terms used in this chapter mean:

(1) "Mental health services," the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of an individual's mental and emotional functioning that is required to alleviate the psychological trauma that resulted from a crime;

(2) "Immediate family," the victim's spouse, children, mother, father, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, great-grandparents, great-grandchildren, stepchildren, and stepparents.
