An individual who supervises staff providing direct services and support must be a mental health professional who has at least a masters degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing, and currently holding a license in that field, with two years of supervised post graduate clinical experience in a mental health, family or child welfare setting. The supervisor may not have on record a substantiated report of child abuse or neglect.
