Section 67:16:40:04 - Authorization for admission required

A hospital must receive authorization from the care manager before admitting any of the individuals specified in § 67:16:40:03 to one of the exempt units listed in § 67:16:40:02. The care manager shall use the requirements established in § 67:16:40:07, 67:16:40:08, 67:16:40:09, or 67:16:40:09.01 to determine whether the individual should be admitted.
