Section 67:16:25:14 - Recovery of amounts overpaid

The department considers a payment made on behalf of a recipient for non-emergency transportation assistance that exceeds the amount reimbursable under this chapter to be an overpayment and subject to recovery. The department may use a payment due to a provider as an offset against a provider's existing overpayment.
