Section 67:16:06:01 - Definitions

Terms used in this chapter mean:

(1) "Contractor," a vendor that has a contract with the department to adjudicate claims for dental services and goods provided to eligible recipients of the medical assistance program; and

(2) "Dentist," a dentist as defined in SDCL 36-6A-1, a dentist who practices one of the specialties listed in § 20:43:04:01, or an individual licensed as a dentist under the laws of another state.
