Section 67:16:02:05.15 - Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy services are covered services if ordered by a physician or other licensed practitioner through a written prescription and provided by a occupational therapist licensed under SDCL 36-31, occupational therapy assistant licensed under SDCL 36-31.

Services provided by an occupational therapy assistant shall be billed by the supervising occupational therapist.
