Section 67:14:31:33 - Child's own funds in financing foster care

Prior to the allocation of state or federal funds to finance a child's foster care, the child's own funds shall be used. The child's own funds may include contributions from the child's family, child support, social security, supplemental security income, veterans benefits, or inheritances.
