Section 67:13:03:01 - DefinitionsTerms used in this chapter mean:
(1) "ABAWD," an able-bodied adult without dependants at least age 18 and under age 50, who is not working at least 20 hours a week, not pregnant, and not responsible for a child under age 18 in that individual's supplemental nutrition assistance program household;(2) "Community support provider congregate facility," a public or private nonprofit residential setting serving no more than 16 residents that is certified under regulations issued in accordance with section 1616(e) of the Social Security Act as amended to July 1, 2009;(3) "Expedited service," an action that allows verifications other than identity to be postponed for one or two months for faster benefit delivery;(4) "Issuance month," the calendar month for which an allotment is issued;(5) "Prospective budgeting," "prospectively," the computation used in determining a household's supplemental nutrition assistance allotment which is based on the best estimate of income and circumstances which will exist in that month; and(6) "TANF," the temporary assistance to needy families program established in article 67:10.S.D.
