Section 61:08:07:02 - Repair notification

No major repair or alteration by welding in accordance with this chapter may be made without notifying an authorized inspector. If a boiler requires major repair, the operation certificate shall be suspended until notice is received by the State Fire Marshal's Office and the boiler repair is approved by an authorized inspector. The inspector shall require, as necessary, an inspection of the boiler before granting approval. If a hydrostatic test is necessary, the test shall be applied after the repair or alteration has been completed.
