Section 5:01:03:12 - Interrupted travel or indirect route of travel at employee's own expense

If a state employee, for personal reasons or the employee's own convenience, travels by any route other than the direct route, or engages in additional travel other than the direct route, the extra expense shall be borne by the employee.
