Each resident bedroom shall have general lighting of at least ten footcandles (0.929 lumens per square meter) and night lighting. If task illumination is required, a light with an intensity of at least 30 footcandles (2.80 lumens per square meter) at the work surface shall be provided. At least one luminaire for night lighting shall be switched at the entrance to each resident room. Illumination of at least 100 footcandles (9.29 lumens per square meter) shall be provided at the medication set-up area. Illumination of at least 30 footcandles (2.80 lumens per square meter) shall be provided in each dining area and at any bathing facility.
