Section 44:79:08:04 - Retention of medical records

A hospice shall retain medical records for a minimum of six years from the actual visit date of service or patient care. The retention of the record for six years is not affected by additional and future visit dates. The retention of the record for six years is not affected by additional and future visit dates.
