An antisiphon device or backflow preventer shall be installed on hose bibs and on all fixtures to which hoses or tubing can be attached such as laboratory and janitors' sinks, bedpan flushing attachments, and handheld showers. An antisiphon device or backflow preventer shall be installed on all plumbing and equipment where any possibility exists for contamination of the potable water supply.
