Floors shall be easily cleanable and shall have the wear resistance appropriate for the location involved. Floors in kitchens and related spaces shall be water-resistant. In all areas where floors are subject to wetting, they shall have a nonslip finish. Adjacent dissimilar floor materials shall be flush with each other to provide a level floor surface.
