Section 44:70:07:10 - Emergency naloxone storage and administration

A facility may stock naloxone for emergency use. Naloxone shall be stored in a manner that allows access only to individuals authorized to administer the drug. Qualified personnel may administer naloxone in accordance with written policies and procedures that provide safety and oversight. Policies and procedures shall follow manufacturer guidelines. Qualified personnel who administer naloxone must receive initial and annual training.
