The facility shall have written policies and procedures that govern all dietetic activities. The policies and procedures shall include food handling procedures, length of duration for leftovers, and opened packages of commercially prepared food in accordance with chapter 44:02:07. The policies and procedures shall be reviewed yearly and revised as necessary.
