Section 44:70:04:17 - Physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner services

Each resident shall designate an attending physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner upon admission. Emergency and arranged medical care shall be in accordance with written policies and procedures of the facility. Each resident shall be seen by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner at intervals in keeping with the resident's condition, but at least once a year.
