All records and information concerning individuals are confidential and may not be divulged to anyone without the consent of the individual, parent, or legal guardian. However, the CSHS program may release records if required by state law, for the purposes of a medical study if an individual's identity will not be published, if it is necessary to provide care for the individual, or if it is necessary for the protection of the community. The CSHS program may release statistical information.
